After a number of weeks of use I continue to enjoy these speakers. In a well designed/built cabinet they produce a sound that belies their small size with a natural and rich sounding mid-range. Low-end presence is also quite impressive and they work well in a small space or on a desk as a near-field speaker. Their relatively even response means they also do okay with quite a wide variety of music. In terms of imaging/separation & their ability to resolve complex passages of music, I feel that the 7Ms do have the edge, but they require a larger cabinet.
